4. In 2004, again for first time ever in the world of the professional vending, JOFEMAR introduced an internet system for management and accounting of vending machines: -Vending Management System or VENDING Track.
Generally speaking, it consists of two modules: 1/ A modem (usually GSM) installed in the machine, and 2/ Personal Computer with a modem, placed in the office, which receives information from the first modem. Both modems are equipped with SIM cards. One computer can serve many machines.
System makes a mobile connection via internet and this way transfers online all type of data for the machine's performance. Alongside, it gives the opportunity to manage diverse parameters online: prices, alarms, cleanings, promotions and many other.
This way it happened the consumer had even not been aware for a problem in the machine that took place, but the operator had it already cleared.
And this is only one of the advatages to use such a system. Another of these are: anticipated logistics planning, anticipated goods volume estimation, anticipated planning of the cash flow that will be received and so on.
Each one of these advantages can increase with a two-digit number the effectiveness of the machine network and sales. And last, but not least: to see more smiles on the consumers' faces. :)
